Ben will be on Canadian Horses To Move September 19th !
Ben is a 15hh approximately 12 year old grade buckskin gelding.
Ben is what we like to call a cowboys couch . He doesn’t want to go anywhere fast , he can put in days of hard work but would much rather not . A sweet guy that does no harm and would eat all day if you let him !
Highlights :
Spent all spring calving
Has been riding pasture and going to the sale barn this summer
Has recently been going to team roping practices
Rides out alone quietly and safely ( works alone 98% of the time )
Has been tied off on and is used to doctor calves cows and bulls
Is accustom to small loud children and dogs
Downfalls :
Can be a little spooky if left off for long periods of time but is still safe and reliable .
if you are going to put him to work hard he likes to wear a pair of front shoes. Not a necessity but certainly helps his sensitive feet out .
Has some scarring that hasn’t effected him, will be pictured below .
Overall Ben is a solid citizen around here and if he was a mare he wouldn’t be for sale. Ben would be more than suitable for a handy youth rider. He would also be very easy to finish and take to the roping pen !

Irene is broodmare sound only at this time with X-rays on file we are willing to discuss with serious buyers. She can be hard to catch in large spaces but once caught she’s easy. Ties, loads, baths , stands for vet and farrier etc etc. She has had three foals and is currently open and for sale because we are downsizing due to having young kids. She is a fabulous mother who does it all on her own. Would most likely qualify for foundation papers as well.

Dually Cat was the 2nd highest selling stud fee at $4275 during the 2024 CBHI SS auction in March.
This stud is very popular currently and really needs no introduction. More often than not you can catch at least one of his offspring in the money at most major Canadian events.
