Meet the Clinician & Judge

Big thanks to Ammie Reid from Reidell Farms for joining us as our clinician and judge. Ammie is a registered EC coach who has been showing a variety of welsh ponies for the last 20 years. Along side a successful career in welsh ponies Ammie has also shown hunter jumper, quarter horses and paint horses. Ammie herself shows all aspects of the welsh breed shows, in hand, driving and riding. She has attended the Royal winter fair as an exhibitor the last six years consecutively. Her youth students have a very successful history in the 11 to 18 showmanship. Ammie takes great pride in how she presents her ponies believing when you turn yourself out to the best of your ability, you have so much more confidence and pride ! We are very excited to have Ammie join us all the way from Ontario for our first year hosting .

Day One

Clinic

This clinic is designed to prep you for show day! We will be reviewing showing your pony in hand with riding and or driving lessons available in the afternoon.

Clinic Registration

Clinic Participant - 180$ - Includes clinic admission for participant and one companion, a t-shirt for the participant and two lunches.

Clinic Auditor - 40$ - Includes admission to audit the clinic and lunch. Please submit a form and indicate auditor under the lesson portion so we know to make you a meal!

Payment to be made by e-transfer by May 31st 2026. Instructions to follow registration via email.

 
Day Two

Show

Our event is targeted to new and experienced pony owners looking to learn how to show the breed divisions! We aim to provide a welcoming environment to learn in.There will be Royal qualifying classes so please watch for more details.

Things you need to know !

  • Proof of provincial insurance will be required

    Waivers will be provided to be signed at check in

    Youth will be required to wear a helmet

  • Onsite accommodations are rodeo style! Dry camping and self penning / tying. We will have water for horses available but please bathe before you come to conserve onsite water as it will be hauled in. Ogema regional park does have electricity / water hook ups which will need to be reserved through the park. Under no circumstances are horses permitted on the camp ground. If you are running a trailer generator please be considerate of your neighbours !
